The friendly people at the Mills Memorial United Methodist Chuch strive to make you feel welcome. Our goal is to allow you to experience God's love and grace and uplifting messages in a comfortable atmosphere. We know that your first time as a guest in our church, may raise some questions for you like "How do I get there?", "Where do I park?", "What should I wear?" and "What will the people and the service be like?"
Here is a quick overview of what you can expect: Click Here for a map to the church. A parking lot is located behind the church on King Street. A handicap ramp and door are located at this entrance.
You will be greeted by our friendly greeters whom will be happy to direct you down the hall to the service. If you have children, the Children's Bible Hour is located on the upper level and can be reached via elevator near the back entrance or the stairway also near the back entrance. Restrooms are located on the right as you move towards the sanctuary. Both women's and handicap/unisex bathrooms are available.
Dress for the service can be anything from suits and dresses to jeans and a top. It is what you feel comfortable in.
People generally gather in the sanctuary for worship anytime between 1/2 hour before the service at 10:30 a.m. or up until 10:30. Ten minutes before the service starts music is played on the organ.
The service includes music, prayers, Bible readings, and a sermon.
The message focuses on connecting the Biblical teachings to our daily lives. We hope this will help you to feel a sense of connection with God, as we are all his children.
